Some of the best tires I think I've owned. Aggressive yet smooth riding. Very little road noise. Have definitely helped me out some sticky situations. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase these again
3 months later, low use, and the front tires already need to be replaced
This is my second set of Ohtsu AT4000 tires. I like the aggressive tread pattern and how they look on my Jeep Patriot. Great all terrain tires without breaking the bank! Simple tire is the best!! Great service, good prices, and even better delivery!
Second set for my SUV and has been the best tire I have had on any vehicle. Road conditions very from gravel to multiple hiway condition. Cannot beat the value for the price.
I'm not sure who is putting 3's and 4's on Noise. Compared to other AT tires, these are very quiet. Ive had BFG's on most of my trucks and I finally just got tired of paying the price. Did some research and decided to go with the AT4000... what I needed for load range and I was looking for a tire that could handle both highway and off the road. Compared to BFGs... these rock all day long. Super quiet; way better ride; plenty aggressive with great dry traction. I haven't been on a wet road yet but I'm sure I will be next month as I travel for hunting and fishing. The sidewall graphics are minimal, I know the KO2s have aggressive sidewall graphics which is also add a little extra protection due to thickness, but not that much, and I'm not busting brush or rolling through mesquite so I'm sure I'll be fine. Great Tire, super happy with purchase.
Love the tires so far. After 6k miles I can't tell any real wear. The seem to do decent in mud as long as you keep them cleaned out. Rides great for a 8ply tire expecting 45k or more from them.
Tires are built well, run quiet and smooth on asphalt. However, they wander on grooved concrete, which is a deal breaker.
I'm a fan of Japanese manufacturing so I took a chance on these not so well known tires. I recall the brand from back in the 80's because they were the OEM for Honda ATV's. I've put 5k miles on these tires so far and overall they are a high quality tire that gives you a a great on road experience. They are quiet, handle nicely and have both good wet and dry grip. I have not tried them in them off-road yet. They do however fall short in the snow. The compound formulation hardens in the cold and as a result grip in the snow, slush and ice is severely lacking. I did not expect much ( you really need a dedicated snow tire to perform well in the cold) but these tires are terrible in the cold compared to my last set of A/T's, Kumho Road Venture A/T, and they did very well in the winter. Ultimately I will be running dedicated snows next season for my Tacoma and run the Ohtsu's outside of the winter months.
I have had these almost a year and they are worth every penny. Because I have a weird size tire which drives up the cost for me when I want a AT tire
Great ride nice looking
